Bed Installs

Beds that keep plants healthy

Mulch and pine needle beds are key to keeping your plants healthy. Mulch retains moisture to keep plants hydrated and flourishing, cuts down on weeds, and makes the whole property look finished.

All of our mulch installs include bed redefining. Everything is laid evenly and there are no mounds around trees or bushes — piling mulch against a trunk holds moisture against the bark and invites rot, so we don’t do it.

Installing mulch is one of our favorite things to do because it really gives a property life again.

Frequently asked questions

Mulch & Pine Needles FAQs

Mulch or pine needles — which should I choose?
We install both. Pine needles (pine straw) are a Carolina standard around trees and larger natural beds; hardwood mulch gives a darker, more uniform look and is popular for foundation beds. Tell us the look you want and we’ll recommend one.
Do you redefine the bed edges?
Yes — bed redefining is included on every mulch install.
Will you pile mulch around my tree trunks?
No. Everything is laid evenly with no mounds around trees or bushes.
Can you replace mulch with stone?
Yes — one of our Google reviews is from a customer whose bark mulch we swapped out for stone.
